Hi, I'm Dr. Victoria I. Faulkner, DNP, RN.
With a passion for teaching and a decade of experience in nursing, I've learned that the journey to becoming a great nurse is as rewarding as it is challenging.
I earned my Doctorate from the University of Missouri-St. Louis, and hold degrees in nursing and education, which have been the foundation of my dual roles in clinical practice and as an educator.
As a dedicated mentor drawn to teaching by a lifetime of real-world experiences and a deep-seated commitment to care. My journey in nursing began abroad in Ghana, where I embraced global health perspectives, and back to America, where I served communities from New York to Missouri.
My teaching and mentoring philosophy centers around empowering students to become compassionate, skilled, and knowledgeable nursing professionals who are equipped to provide high-quality care in a rapidly changing healthcare atmosphere. I believe that a strong foundation in evidence-based practice, critical thinking, and ethical decision-making is essential for nurses to excel in their roles and positively impact their nursing career and beyond.
